Shipping & Ordering

All orders ship from our atelier in Beverly, Massachusetts. As we grow, this location will move with us — but every piece will continue to be packed by hand, with the care it deserves.

We offer flat-rate insured shipping across the continental United States, calculated by weight at checkout:

• Maison Boutique (0–2 lb) — $18, insured

• Maison Standard (2.1–10 lb) — $35, insured

• Maison Premium (10.1–30 lb) — $65, insured

• Large Pieces (30 lb and above) — Custom quote, please write to us

All packages are fully insured for their value and shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on which carrier best suits the piece. Most orders are dispatched within 3–5 business days. Larger or more delicate antiques may require additional time for proper packing — we will always be in touch if that is the case.

We are pleased to ship internationally on request. Because every antique piece is unique — and because shipping rare or fragile objects across borders requires bespoke handling — international shipping costs are calculated individually.

If you have your eye on something and live outside the United States, please write to us at hello@thefinerthings.style before placing your order so we can prepare a quote and outline the timeline. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Every piece — antique or modern — leaves us properly wrapped, padded, and protected. Antique items are packed with archival materials suited to their age and fragility. Particularly delicate pieces are sometimes hand-delivered to the courier rather than dropped at a depot. Nothing leaves the atelier without inspection.

Antique and vintage pieces are sold as final sale. Each one is one-of-a-kind, has been carefully described and photographed, and has often travelled across continents to reach us. We are always available before purchase to answer questions, share additional photographs, or discuss condition in detail — please do reach out.

Modern pieces may be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unused, undamaged, and returned in their original packaging. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Once received and inspected, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

If your order arrives damaged in transit, please write to us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs, and we will make it right.
